   In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a)(b)(c)(d)(dd) and (e) of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (Act No. 8 of 1948). the Governor is pleased to accord sanction to constitute the State Pharmacy Council comprising the following elected members, nominated members and ex-officio members, respectively : –

  In addition to the above, the Governor further directs under sub-section(6) of section 30 of Pharmacy Act, 1948, after the constitution of the State Council, that all or any specified part of the application fees received for registration in the first register shall be credited to the State Council.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provision to sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Pharmacy Act,1948  ( Act No. 8 of 1948), the Governor is pleased to accord sanction to nominate Sh. Sadhan Kumar Majumdar, M. Pharm, Prof. Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technical Sciences, Patel Nagar, Dehradun as President of the State Pharmacy Council for a period of 5 years from the date of assuming his duties and nominates him as a member of the State Council in addition to the members referred to in section 19 or 21, as the case may be.
